• To support Murwood's academic excellence through supplemental programs, books for breakfast, Odyssey of the Mind, the Science Fair and many more.
• To work with other parents to create a safe and inviting environment.
• To be a part of the largest volunteer child advocacy program in the nation.
• To work with the legislature to change laws and policies effecting our children.
• To decide where Murwood PTA's funds of over $100,000 are invested. You can only vote if you are a member.
• To increase the health and wellness of our children through exercise and healthy eating.
• To help to build a community with after school enrichment programs, parent education nights and community programs.
• To support teachers and staff to continue Murwood's academic excellence.
• To facilitate communication between the school and the parents.
• To promote the importance of recycling and taking care of the environment.
• To meet a fun and dynamic group of parents whose focus is the same - OUR CHILDREN.
