Fundraising at Murwood

The Murwood PTA supports many valuable programs at the school, including: the Science Lab, computers and other technology, library books, Track & Field Day, the Murwood News Network, theme days, character education, Family Fun Nights, teacher training, classroom supplies, and much more. In order to fully fund the current programs, we need to raise over $100,000 each school year. A copy of the 2011–2012 Murwood PTA budget is posted on the PTA bulletin board near the multi-purpose room.

Here’s what you can do to help fund PTA programs:

Make your donation to the Murwood Education Fund

The Murwood PTA is a non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible. Please give whatever you are able. We have payment plan options available for your convenience. Please make your contribution to the Murwood PTA. All donations can be delivered to the front office.

Join eScrip

Just go to http://www.escrip.com and select “Murwood School PTA” as your designated school. Then register your debit cards, credit cards, and your Safeway club card. It is completely safe and every time you shop at the participating businesses they make a donation to the school. Ask your friends and family members to sign up too. If you can't find your Safeway club card number, call the Safeway Club Card Hotline at (877) 723-3929.

Link your Target card to Murwood

The school will receive a donation through the Target “Take Charge of Education” program every time you shop with your registered Target card. Just visit http://www.target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. And remember, family and friends can take part too.

Volunteer for the Auction for Education

For 20 years, our largest fundraiser has been the annual Murwood Auction for Education. You can help make this a successful event! If you would like to volunteer with the Auction for Education, please contact Shelden Hyde or Danielle Scheg at fundraising@murwoodpta.org.
